Every rug gets a thorough inspection and gets an individualized wash plan depending on fiber, construction, condition, soils, and odors.
We check to see if the colors are stable before we clean and apply a dye fix so they won't bleed during the cleaning process.
More than just vacuuming! Your rug will either get a gentle yet thorough air dusting, or will be dusted with our duster that applies 40,000 harmonic vibrations per minute to the back of the rug removing up to 90% of the dry soil before we even clean it.
This gives the cleaning agents extra time to work on those problem areas.
Your rug is thoroughly washed, both front and back, with shampoo specifically formulated to the fiber of your rug. We clean all types of fibers, from wool, silk, cotton, rayon, viscose, jute, etc.
Why not hot? Hot water can cause shrinkage and destabilizes dyes on natural fibers, Cold water keeps the rug safe from these issues.
Fringes are hand detailed using cleaners that won't degrade and weaken the fibers.
We treat your rug with the most advanced fabric protector available to resist all types of soils including water-based, oil-based, and dry soil. It also contains U.V. protection. We can also apply a protective moth treatment that will prevent infestations.
After all the excess water is removed from the rug, it is dried on a rack designed to allow rapid airflow across both sides of the rug to dry it quickly.
Here we examine the rug to make sure it's ready to go home. If we aren't satisfied they go back to step five if needed.
This is a final grooming and fringe comb out to ensure the rug is cloud soft and dust free.
All rugs are rolled and tied with twine. Let us know if you'd like them wrapped in heavy paper to protect them while being transported back to your home. You'll get a text when your rug is ready to be picked up.
